Who We Are

16 Plus is owned and managed by a dedicated and experienced team of Social Workers.

We are an independent organisation with specialist knowledge and expertise in relation to working with young adults and care leavers.

The 16 Plus staff team are social work qualified and /or experienced child care practitioners. Our backgrounds include working within local authority Social Services departments in the areas of leaving care, children looked after and child protection. Many of our Keyworkers also have experience of working as Connexions Personal advisors, Youth Workers in community based groups and as Mentors in schools.

Every member of our team holds a valid Enhanced CRB check.

As employers of Social Care Workers we agree to abide by the standards set out in the Code of Practice for Social Care workers and Employers Introduced by the General Social Care Council.

16 Plus has been established to provide a quality service to care leavers and a professional best value service to Social Services departments.
